Responsible for ensuring billing is processed in a timely manner, warehouse inventory is managed, and parts are staged appropriately for upcoming jobs. Works closely with the accounts receivable department to assist in billing customers through review and reconciling of service orders prior to invoicing. Fosters good rapport with vendors in order to effectively negotiate returns and warranty claims. Maintains inventories and internal controls by tracking and organizing inventory stock, preparing outgoing parcels, receiving shipments and assisting with unloading trucks if needed. This includes proper sterilization of all instruments, sanitation of operatory, passing instruments, positioning of the suction catheter, taking x-rays and general anticipation of the dentist’s needs. Provide a positive customer experience by settling the patient into the treatment chair, answering questions they may have, easing anxieties, administering follow-up instructions and walk-out of appointment.
