Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on severity of condition
• Deliver emergency nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols
• Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with procedures and interventions
• Monitor and document patient conditions, responses to treatment, and progress accurately
• Stabilize patients for transfer to higher levels of care when necessary
• Respond to trauma, cardiac, and other life-threatening emergencies
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions
• Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and supplies
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to regulatory standards
• Collaborate with EMS, lab, radiology, and other departments to coordinate care

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Provide direct skilled nursing care, including medication administration and treatments
• Manage and monitor medical equipment (e.g., ventilators, oxygen, feeding pumps, suction devices)
• Perform tracheostomy care, airway management, and emergency interventions as needed
• Administer enteral feedings and maintain feeding tubes
• Monitor for changes in patient condition and respond appropriately
• Educate and support family members and caregivers in care techniques and disease management
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure a safe home environment and adherence to infection control practices
• Participate in care coordination and discharge planning

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency medical calls in a timely and professional manner
• Perform patient assessments, including history-taking, vital signs, and physical exams
• Provide advanced pre-hospital care within AEMT scope, including airway management, IV therapy, and medication administration
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment
• Assist paramedics and other EMS personnel during advanced procedures
• Safely transport patients to hospitals or other healthcare facilities
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, medical control, and receiving facilities
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic patient care reports (ePCR)
• Follow established protocols, guidelines, and safety procedures
• Participate in continuing education, training, and skills competency assessments
• Maintain cleanliness, readiness, and inventory of ambulance and equipment

• Assist with patient care in the Emergency Department, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, and basic patient assessments
• Support advanced procedures such as intubation, central line placement, chest tubes, and trauma resuscitations
• Assist with packaging and transferring critically ill patients for interfacility transport
• Accompany transport teams (ground or air, if applicable) and assist with patient monitoring and care en route
• Perform EKGs, blood draws, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as directed.
• Perform contiunous telemetry monitoring, recognizing and promptly reporting cardiac rhythm changes or abnormalities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and transport activities
• Ensure readiness, cleanliness, and restocking of transport vehicles and ED equipment
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, EMS personnel, and receiving facilities
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
