As a Paper Winder Operator I loaded paper rolls onto the spools and feed the ends into the machine. The machine winds the paper into a tube and cuts it to length before ejecting it onto a conveyor. I inspected the straws and packed them into a box for the next operation of shipment. I made technical adjustments to the machine and ensured the line stayed clear of excess product while monitoring the operation. Throughout the shift I tracked production and performed required daily maintenance on the machine.
I started my career with Benchmark Human Services ( previously Anthony Wayne Services) in Aug 2006 as a DSP. After a year and a half I was promoted to a Program Coordinator. As a Program Coordinator I managed a case load of 18- 22 individuals with disabilities and supervised two Supported Living Managers and numerous direct care professionals. IN October of 2018 I stepped down to a Direct Support Professional position due to personal reasons. In December of 2019 I stepped back into a management role as a Supported Living Manager. I managed a smaller case load of 10 individual and supervised the direct support professionals that worked with my clients. This position required me to be on call 24/7.
