I worked for 20 years in medical office management. I developed programs to enhance office performance and created office materials such as employee handbooks, policies, and training materials. I hired and trained staff, held office meetings, and analyzed staff and account performance.

For the past 3 years I have worked at the Kentucky Department for Public Health as the Lead Training Coordinator for the Kentucky Immunization Registry. I completed an 8-month fellowship with the Kentucky Public Health Emerging Leadership Institute and have represented the Epidemiology division on the Quality Improvement Committee for the past 9 months. I oversee the new Outreach Coordinator positions for the Immunization Registry and look forward to continuing to grow and develop my career in public health.

  • I answered emails, did data entry, and assisted with group projects In August of 2021 I was promoted to an assistant trainer
