Awards

Patient Movement Improvement Project, April 2016, The project began in an effort to decrease patient throughput and the number of patients that left without being seen from the Emergency Department. Once the action items for the project had been implemented the average bed request to bed assign time decreased from 89.35 minutes to 21.55 minutes surpassing the original goal by 30 minutes, increasing patient satisfaction to 86.7%, and decreasing the number of patients left without being seen from 4% to 1%.
