- Responsible for prototype testing of new circuitry for the design engineering group
- Testing includes setting up automotive harnesses with DUTs (Device Under Test) and subjecting these DUTs to stresses that could occur during vehicle operation
- Intense observation and monitoring of the DUTs during testing, accompanied with descriptive reporting of any abnormalities within the operation of the DUTs
- Reports are submitted to the responsible product engineers for review and updates and corrections to the DUTs
Engine Engineering Electronics Lead Technician

- Responsible for fabrication of prototype electronics including Engine and chassis harnesses and wiring of new electronic devices
- These wiring designs will be integrated into the engine and body controls of new vehicles
- I had a lead role in the "Super Truck" project. This endeavor was an ongoing project that uses some if the latest ideas in engineering concepts related to class 8 diesel trucks
- assembling, and installing the Waste Heat Recovery system
- I was the lead technician on the Waste Heat Recovery project. This system was designed to utilize heat from the exhaust and convert it into electricity to recharge the batteries of the hybrid system

- A strong understanding of the operation of this equipment was necessary for the correction of problems with the day-to-day operations of these machines
- I monitored and corrected problems related to soot and corrosion caused by hydrocarbons and NOx. These contaminants were left behind after test sampling and were a major problem causing failures in the emissions equipment.
