Accomplishments

Every year in December I collaborate a clothing drive for a local Lynn shelter that works with DCF families. Most donations come from all our first responder communities.

I am also in the process of applying for grants to get a project up and running that I am organizing. It is for first responders in the local communities. I am making "go" bags for ambulances, fire, police to help aid on a call with an autistic individuals. The bag will have sound proof headphones, small weighted lap pad, a fidget, sunglasses, and a PICS Board to help give a nonverbal individual the tools to communicate with first responders. This would also come with a training from myself.

Recently have been interviewed on a Pod cast about Autism and 1st responders, to help both 1st responders and individuals on the spectrum better insight on how to best interact safely with each other.
