- As Information Technology manager, initiated the setting up of Information Technology Department in Malawi Police by way of coming up with inception and concept reports, setting up department's structure, policy, strategy and staffing. I went on to become the first officer in charge of the department from 2002 to 2012.
- Developed information systems and technologies being used in Malawi Police.
- Trained computer users, systems operators and Information Technology Department technical staff.
- Conducted investigations into computer-related crimes to gather evidence.
- Advised management on all aspects of project management, systems development while ensuring that technical Information Technology standards were met.
- Developed and updated Information Technology security programs for Malawi Police Service.
- Monitored industry technical standards and advised senior managers on product and technique suitability.

- Being the first assignment in Malawi Police Service, I was introduced to different branches and hence successfully served as a general duties police officer in areas of crime prevention, investigation, prosecution of cases, and road traffic controls and management.
