- Provide new and existing customers with a professional introduction to any new and/or used pieces of equipment they have purchased. Also, provide operator training for their employees, along with task training to groups that are employed at operations that fall under MSHA or OSHA guidelines. Or more in-depth level 1, level 2 training per Caterpillar guidelines.
- Provide training to the heavy sales and rental sales teams at Harnish Group. Help heavy equipment and rental store salespeople with advice on equipment specifications to help fit their customers' needs. Set up customer demonstrations to make sure that our Caterpillar equipment has the best chance to perform and make the sale to the customer. I also help set up and manage customer 'demo' days, and operator challenges.
- I also help the service department set up machines during the pre-delivery inspection process, meet with customers to help troubleshoot their machines, and get them set up and operating correctly, or offer an analysis to report back to the service department.
- Travel to Washington and Alaska to help my counterparts with their customer trainings, local demo days, and operator challenges.
