- Set the proper lay according to order specifications
- Responsible for set-up and operation of 12-bobbin and a core strander (19 wires)
- Responsible for Inspecting of Bobbins and Brakes at the beginning and during the shift
- Responsible for observing and watching the screen for improper bobbins and cross wires
- Responsible for Adjustment of the Head Spread IN/OUT
- Responsible for Adjustment of the Helix either reducing or adding to it
- Responsible for Changing the rollers and using the feeler gauge while doing the change out/set-up
- Responsible for correct wire sizes, lengths and directions of lays of multi-layer cable
- Responsible for loading and unloading sets of bobbins
- Responsible for making all pay-off reel or bobbin changes and take-up reel changes
- Responsible for maintaining a layer wound package
- Responsible for a correct inventory of tags daily
- Load in full bobbins with the use of crane
- Thread machine by pulling wire through guides and stranding heads
- Adjust bobbin tension and die pressure at the beginning of the order and as required throughout the entire order

- Perform all job duties in accordance with work instructions and quality standards.
- Efficiently read and interpreted blueprints.
