- Designed and implemented an Ignition SCADA System for 5 converted Water Treatment Plants for the City of Fort Worth.
- Legacy GE FANUC PLC System (FANUC 90-70, GE RX7i, GE RX3i); upgraded hardware to Schneider Electric Modicon and Allen Bradley CompactLogix PLC’s; updated FCN (Function Control Narratives) for new applications.
- Recreated network environment to test all 15 PLC's and current programs being use at 1 water treatment plant.
- Developed over 10 new UDT's for entire plant due to retrofitting constraints; 1 plant retained existing automation hardware
- Responsible for creating over 6,000 new tags to be used in Ignition, via OPC UA to Kepware
- Established a new Kepware Server utilizing GE Ethernet Protocol (TCP/IP) with ability to convert to GE EGD (Ethernet Global Data) for PLC communications.
- Created and maintained Windows 10 virtual machine with VM Ware to create a simulation environment with GE Emerson PAC ME (GE PAC Machine Edition) software to diagnose current PLC programs being used by the plant.
- 12 weeks to reverse engineer legacy GE Cimplicity HMI to operate efficiently in a Ignition 8.3 Perspective system.
