Previous employment
Before making a move into Aged Care, I was employed for close to 10 years as a truck / forklift driver including warehouse work, for Duralite Horticulture, which was a horticultural company. I also held a Dangerous Goods transportation licence, as I had the responsibility of transporting different fertilizers including Ammonian Nitrate, which must be transported with care. Due to the competitiveness of larger companies in the market, my former employer had to shut down.
Around this time I was also praying, and considering other employment avenues, due to the monotony of this kind of work.
