  • Resident physician at Holtz Children Hospital, associated with Jackson Memorial Hospital, serving as the only county safety net hospital for Miami-Dade. Hospital houses 254 beds with a 24 bed PICU with CICU and 126 bed level IV NICU. Additionally worked in out-patient clinics associated Jackson and University of Miami as well as newborn care and delivery at Mt. Sinai medical center in Miami Beach.
  • Led screening medical visits for recently immigrated individuals, entrance to school system, newborn assessment, annual wellness, and sport's physicals in variety of clinic settings- Jackson associated resident led clinic, University of Miami community pediatric practice, and school based clinic
  • Diagnosed and treated patients with chronic conditions (complex genetic syndromes, prematurity, transplant medicine, ECMO medicine, respiratory failure, TBI, developmental delay, palliative medicine, oncology/BMT and opthamology) in the in-patient setting as well as served as their pediatric medical home as part of my resident clinic panel.

  • Addressing neonatal complications in low-risk and high-risk deliveries at the labor ward under guidance from general pediatric attendings and neonatologist.
  • Supervised healthcare teams as senior resident physician of about 8 medical students, sub-interns, and residents.
  • Fostered a supportive learning environment, including leading discussions about clinical guidelines, creating formal/informal presentations, directing small group sessions on general pediatric topics or complex cases, and hosted department presentations, including department wide pediatric staff conference "The Hungry Patient: A discussion about formula during a national shortage".
  • Contributed to bolstering resident education by creation of out-patient resident clinic guide book. Currently in the process of creating elective lactation experience as well as clinical pathway for orbital cellulitis.
  • Quality Improvement Project: Improving Patient-Centered Continuity of Care in a Pediatric Primary Care Residency Clinic. Awarded 2ndplace in Oral Presentation at UM/JHS Quality & Safety Showcase (May 2023)
