Provided residential leadership and crisis response for 135 neurodivergent high school students, fostering a safe and inclusive community. Strengthened staff training by designing and leading a session and facilitating reflective team-building activities. Coached staff 1:1 on best practices for student response and supported RAs in leading wing meetings to enhance student engagement and development.

• Utilized personal experience as a neurodivergent student and Landmark alum to build rapport and connect with prospective students. Evaluated applicant fit for Landmark through analyzing student academic history, neuropsychological evaluation reports, writing samples, letters of recommendation, and interviews. Supported students in the onboarding process and preparing for the transition to college.

• Created, marketed, and ran programming related to neurodiversity identity, advocacy, and culture. Collaborated with neurodivergent students on developing strategies and tools to successfully tackle academic work. Cultivated a safe and sensory-friendly space for students to gather, decompress, and regulate, and prompted neurodiversity and disability-oriented identity exploration.

• Collaborated on a team of five RA’s to provide social support and facilitate community development for a neurodivergent population of students, utilizing emotional intelligence skills, adaptability, and de-escalation strategies. Designed programming to foster the development of relationships among residents in suite and apartment-style housing.

• Cultivated an environment of unity and empathy while facilitating high school student development in a month-long leadership program. Trained students in wilderness trip leading and personal responsibility, creating opportunities for reflection, collaboration, teamwork, and fun!
