My responsibilities encompassed cell culturing, DNA and RNA extraction, polymerase chain reaction assays, data quantification, and presentation of findings. This work contributed to understanding the pathophysiology of microbial-host interactions, with an emphasis on how these may lead to inflammatory complications.
