2019-2024: RFA Investigations, CFS

• Investigated complaints/allegations made against Resource homes, ensured adherence to RFA Written Directives and Title 22 regulations. Determined and presented findings. Wrote comprehensive investigative reports. Created and implemented Corrective Action Plans.

2014-2019: Foster Care Licensing, CFS

• Completed home studies for Foster Parent applicants and prepared them for licensure. Provided support to Foster Families and ensured their foster care license was maintained in compliance with Title 22. Completed annual reviews for licensed homes.

2007-2014: Foster Care Placement, CFS

• Secured foster home placements for dependents of the Juvenile Court. Matched children to appropriate families/homes.Wrote comprehensive court reports. Ensured placement for children of all ages, with various needs, including those with significant medical, emotional, and psychiatric challenges.

2000-2007: Group Homes/MTS, CFS

• Managed a full case load of dependent children for the Juvenile Court, and ensured their needs (medical, educational, social, therapeutic, etc.) were met. Created and maintained case plans for children and their parents. Supported Family Reunification as well as concurrent care. Facilitated family visits. Supported minors through emancipation, and wrote comprehensive court reports.

1998-2000: Diversion, Social Worker II, CFS

• Assessed immediate needs of children at the time of detention, and secured placement foster family homes in order to avoid the necessity of congregate care. Worked closely with Emergency Shelter Homes, as well as Foster Family Agencies, and Licensed Foster Homes.

1994-1998: Orangewood Children's Home, GC1, CFS

• Provided direct care and supervision for dependents of the Juvenile court. These were children, ages 0-18.

• Direct supervision and care of dependent youths of the Juvenile court.
• Guide youths as they prepare to emancipate. Assist with job searches and Independent Living Skills.
• Support youth's educational needs/ Assist implementation of IEP's.
• Facilitate community outings.
• Collaborated with coworkers in order to meet the needs of the youths in the facility.
• Enforced rules and expectations, some of which that were not well received by residents.
• Provide and teach meal prep.

• Worked directly with adult clients residing in Psychiatric Group Homes
• Provided guidance and support, helping residents develop necessary life skills to live independently.
• Monitored individual progress and documented changes in behaviors, mood, and skills.
• Utilized crisis intervention techniques to de-escalate challenging situations.
• Facilitated social activities and group sessions to help build relationships between residents and promote positive interactions within the community.
