I assess patient with breathing issues. Consult with doctors in order to develop a treatment plan for each patient in need of respiratory care during their hospital stay.I use critical thinking skills to determine whether a patient needs breathing treatment, CPT,suctioning or intubating and/or extubating. I also assist doctors with different procedures such as bronchoscopy and tracheostomy insertions.During my shift I monitor patients on bipap,ventilators or any other type of oxygen device.Each patient is weaned off the device according to their daily lab results.

I assisted medically disabled infants and children who were needed to be picked up at their homes and brought to the center requiring a medically licensed personnel to monitor their condition during travel to the center and during their time at the center and also back home at the end of the day
