• Experience in conducting comprehensive and diabetic eye examinations in collaboration with Ophthalmologists and Optometrists. Proficiently performing a spectrum of vital assessments including checking visual acuity, intraocular pressures, history of present illnesses (HPI), refraction, dilation, and other supplementary tests as required. • Testing includes use of the optical coherence test (OCT), Humphrey’s visual field (HVF), Corneal Topographer, manual pachymetry, auto-lensometer, table top and auto-refractor, intraocular pressure with iCare, Tono pen, goldmann applanation, and non-contact tonometer (NCT), optos, clarus, and IOL Master.
• Proper sterilization of instruments used throughout clinic

- Glaucoma Consults: checking visual acuity, goldmann applanation, OCT, pachymetry, and HVF

- Cataract Consults: comprehensive exam with brightness acuity test (BAT) and OCT of the macula.

- Pediatric Consults: comprehensive exam, stereopsis, color plate test, worth 4 dot (W4D), and cyl conversions. In addition to working in pediatrics, scribing for the pediatric ophthalmologist, facilitating efficient communication by transmitting medications, referrals, notes, and requesting documentation as necessary

- Oculoplastic Consults: checking visual acuity, visual field tests for ptosis, preparation of sterile instruments and assisting the doctor for minor procedures like excisions of lesions on the lids and sending them to pathology, setting up botox injections for blepharospasms, punctual stenosis for dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), performing color plate tests for orbital diagnosis, and sending medications.
