Hobbies, Clubs and Certifications

I have obtained two certifications to instruct sailing small boats and big boats. Sailing is my biggest passion and hobby.

Through my hobby I have had an opportunity to be a part of starting a sailing club at Fellow Lake in Springfield MO which is a part of the Watershed Committee. Not only does the club help promote the sport of sailing but it also allows the participants to be ambassadors of the preservation to the beautiful resources that allow us to enjoy the sport.

My role with the Springfield Sailing Club is not only instructor but also I am in charge of social media and co-communications chair.

In the past I held a social chair position for the Lake Stockton Yacht Club as well which involved social media and planning events.

To earn my instructing certifications I had to also earn my CPR, First Aid and AED certificate; Safe Spor certificate and MO Boater Safety certification.
