While still leading the team in kennel work, my new duties included:

• Scheduling and monitoring employee attendance.
• Delegating work to staff, setting priorities, and goals.
• Evaluating individual and team performance, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• And resolving customer inquiries and complaints that require management-level escalation.

I began as a pet care specialist, mainly with kennel work; this included:

• Cleaning kennels.
• Supervising dogs and cats.
• Keeping up with laundry and dishes.
• Providing overall care for the pets.

I was promoted to associate lead in early 2019; my new duties included:

• Customer service.
• Supervising employees.
• Evaluating temperaments.
• Administering medication to dogs and cats, and monitoring health charts.
• Various paperwork and recording of any pet incidents.
