Internship at Recovery is a beach (September 2024- May 2025)

Throughout my internship, I have gained extensive experience in addiction treatment across both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have conducted case management, completed intake assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations, and led 2-3 group therapy sessions daily, focusing on relapse prevention, coping skills, and emotional regulation. Additionally, I have provided individual counseling sessions to support clients in their recovery journey. Beyond direct client care, I manage communication between interns and facility ownership, ensuring streamlined operations and adherence to clinical objectives. I also assist in maintaining and adjusting the daily treatment schedule to effectively meet client needs, contributing to the overall structure and efficiency of the program.
