In my early adulthood I worked in a day care for four years. I started working with the school system when I was twenty-two. My first classroom was tilted the O.H. class. These students were diagnosed as Orthopedically Handicapped. I have been in special education my entire career in the school system. Some fields that I have worked in are, self-contained access with a combination of levels one-three, ranging from elementary to high school. I have also worked in inclusion classrooms. Currently, I work in a classroom for students with Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD). The disorders range from autism, severe behavior disorder, and emotional disorders. Most of these students have a combination of disorders, which require medication.
