    While I worked on the reservation Rosebud in South Dakota I facilitated group support groups about domestic violence at White Buffalo Calf Society Women's Shelter.

    I volunteered at a wolf sanctuary in Ramah NM while I was working as a nurse in New Mexico.

    I have finished part 1 and 2 of the Reach Out to Horses Holistic Horsemanship Course and Certification.

    I worked as charge RN at a youth residential treatment program for native youth in New Mexico. I completely revised the health education program that we taught the residents. I also had to rewrite all of the policies for the medical department.

    When I lived in Duluth Minnesota I volunteered at their homeless shelter/program, providing health wellness checks and answering questions regarding their health and healthcare needs.

I attended my master's program in a traditional classroom setting and my classes and clinicals were in person at Hawaii Pacific University, a private college located on the island of Oahu. I worked very hard for over two years and did end up graduating with distinction in August of 2008,

Interests

I am very passionate about horses. I am interested in horse rescue work and recently rescued a gelding from Kentucky.

I am in the process of getting my certification for Holistic Horsemanship Course called ROTH ( reach out to horses).

I enjoy spending time hiking in the woods with my dogs and my friends.

I enjoy nature and anything that is outside.
