I hd picked up a shift as a CSR on my day off. A patient had just finished seeing a provider and came to the front to leave when she was disoriented and unsteady on her feet. The other CSR and my self noticed this and i rushed from behind the desk and through the door to catch her before she walked into the table and feel. I was the only person allowed to touch the patient due to i was a CMA also, the CSR are not allowed to touch patients. Once i got my arms around her from the back I asked the other ladies to call to the back for assistance. I kept her up right and alert until help arrived and was able to get a wheel chair and then the provider she had seen came to the front and we began checking all her vitals again and asking questions to see if she knew what happened and where she was. The call was made to send her to the hospital due to she kept having total body tensing and tightening. Rescue was called and requested along with notifying her husband of what happened and where she was being taken to.
