Summary

With a solid 16-year experience in special education, I have honed my skills in working cooperatively with teachers, administration, and families to create academically appropriate IEPs for students with particular learning needs. My role includes but is not limited to, supporting teacher needs, hosting data teams with general education and special education staff, completing teacher evaluations, and attending IEP meetings. This particular job requires me to listen closely to the needs of the family as well as the needs of the student. My distinctive focus on the individual needs of special education students, coupled with my special skills in collaboration with teachers, parents, and specialists, make me a valuable asset in meeting the educational needs of students.

National Association of Junior Auxiliary

The Junior Auxiliary was founded on the principles of helping children and making a difference in their lives; it provides women the opportunity to serve and be a vital part of their communities. Our local Cleveland, Tennessee Chapter has many service opportunities to serve and give back to the children of Bradley County and surrounding areas. I recently served on the board for the 2023-2024 year as the assistant to the provisional chair. This role allowed me to serve as a co-trainer in teaching the provisional class more about the NAJA organization and how our local chapter services our community.
