Projects

Activities, I started volunteering at the Lighthouse shelter and Soup Kitchens in my youth. I knew I would learn about the homeless community in Ventura County. By being involved in volunteering it helped me overcome these unfamiliar worries. Since they are strange and different from them, they are not trustworthy or deserving of their attention. In actuality, people don't know much about the homeless. Homeless people are people just like you and me, any volunteer at a shelter will tell you. Additionally, due to a lack of resources or knowledge, they might not have received treatment for physical or mental problems. The volunteers have faced and conquered their fears, improved the lives of others, and formed enduring connections with those they formerly feared.
