A multifaceted Interior Design Professional with 13 years of experience and a focus on Hospitality and F&B interiors. Seeking a high-energy, creative position designing authentic and soulful interiors. Looking to continue to push my leadership abilities, creative energy, and technical skills in a way that benefits both company and client.
A passionate, hard-working, and driven individual who finds inspiration in life's details and enjoys creating interiors influenced by emotion, completely engaging the imagination, creating the art of visual surprise.
My passion is collaboratively working with energetic project teams to create interior experiences. A leader by nature and strong communicator who thrives in fast-paced, challenging positions and believes collaboration and passion breed innovation.
During my time at Forrest Perkins, I led the design direction for various hospitality projects, overseeing the development and documentation of design concepts within project teams. I was actively involved in the preparation of presentation material and the selection and documentation of FF&E, OFCI, Finishes, and Plumbing. I collaborated with the team on the development of construction documents and redlined all sets to ensure the design intent has been carried through. Conducted site visits to evaluate existing conditions of interior spaces.
Project List:
During my time at Walrop+Nichols, I led the design direction of Boutique Hospitality projects. I gained experience in working on the redesign and reselections for properties impacted by hurricanes, including coordination with insurance.
During my time at Duncan & Miller Design, I was promoted from Senior Project Designer to Project Design Director, where I carried both roles simultaneously. As Senior Project Designer, I led the design direction for all personal projects, with a focus on F&B and Hospitality Interiors, and saw projects through all phases of design. I was responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of a project, while mentoring other team members of all experience levels. As Project Design Director, my role expanded to overseeing each project within the firm at a high level, developing project schedules, and ensuring all project teams progress projects as required in order to reach all deadlines.
During my time at Pickard Design Studio, I was a part of a small project team that focused on hospitality interiors. I worked closely with the project manager, made all FF&E and finish selections, wrote specifications, and helped produce construction documents. I led the design direction and put together all presentation material.
During my time at Looney & Associates, I worked as part of project teams through all stages of the design process - from initial concepting, materiality, and documentation through project management and final installation. I created specifications for custom furniture and lighting. Coordinated with local and overseas manufacturers, while working one-on-one with purchasing agents, to ensure a high-quality, on-schedule, in-budget, and beautifully finished product. I worked on construction documents and millwork details. Reviewed shop drawings and submittals. Attended site visits and coordination meetings with the client, architect, and project trades. Acted as a main contact for both FF&E and architectural items and worked with internal project teams to manage workloads, deadlines, project schedules, and budgets.
