Surgery prep, IV catheter placement, , intubating, anesthesia monitoring, suturing, dentistry, blood draws, patient recovery.

• All tech duties including administrating meds, vaccines, x-rays, restraint, wound care, lab work, patient monitoring, etc…
• Specializing in surgery, IV catheter placement, placing patients under anesthesia and monitoring, prepping, assisting in various types of surgery and monitoring during recovery.
• I worked at this clinic full time and part time through 2 different owners- both of which I developed friendships with. Most recently I was the full time head technician, overseeing surgery and lab procedures. The owner/ head veterinarian, who was also one of my best friends passed away unexpectedly forcing a change.

• Worked nights and weekends performing all tech duties including blood draws, placing IV catheters, x-Ray, assisting with surgery, anesthesia, patient monitoring, etc…
• Also helped some days with orthopedic surgeries

I enjoyed my time here very much and learned a lot, just needed daytime hours.
