Summary

With 24 years of dedicated and experienced classroom experience in kindergarten, first grade, and fourth-grade reading instruction, my passion for literacy began during my involvement with the federal Reading First grant. This initial spark has since evolved into a deep commitment to literacy development across grade levels. Alongside a Master's degree in Reading, I hold multiple certifications including Specialist in Leadership, P-12 Reading, ESOL, Gifted, and STEM. In addition to instructional expertise, I have demonstrated strong leadership abilities through various roles such as grade-level representative, professional learning facilitator, school council member, and assistant school testing coordinator. These experiences have honed skills in leading, collaborating, and driving instructional improvement school-wide.
