  • Stepped up during time in need to Manage team of 8 Transportation Associates and Logistics Specialists, in which in which reviewed team performance, and identified any issues that occurred. Did this by using KPI's on where we were lacking and where to improve.
  • Reduce yard capacity from 99% to 66% during time of gridlock, in which I decreased risk of delays on future orders. Did this by utilizing our offsite yard to create space and contacting driver's regarding when their loads were ready for early pick up
  • Coordinate with Site Lead and GM on executing action plan on change for yard operations due to congestion from tractor trailers and outbound loads. Action plan was coordinating outbound loads towards end of the yard to minimize congestion, doing so was able to reduce yard incidents and improve flow of traffic by 50%
  • Using MS Excel to monitor loads and departures by creating a pivot table, in which able to see how much time loads have to leave before a late departure. Doing so was able to reduce late departures and customer orders
  • Implanting Yard Audits as a form of KPI's, Used spread sheet to track and list all equipment. Doing so offered ability to track and monitor equipment to reduce cost and over spending on all equipment
