- Developed and launched the Early Childhood Training Institute for the purpose of building capacity, expertise and awareness of issues impacting young children including social and emotional development and infant mental health
- Developed enhancements to the Community Developmental Screening program including using height and weight to address childhood obesity with children screened in conjunction with the Florida Health Dept./Hillsborough County
- ECC is currently one of the leading early childhood non profits in the Tampa Bay area leading the State in Developmental Screening, Inclusion Support Services and Training; leading the transformation of early childhood mental health services in Hillsborough County
- The Early Childhood Council was established in 1983 to increase community awareness and access to services for young children with special needs. ECC has a rich tradition of advocacy, education and innovation to benefit all children from birth to 8 and their families in Hillsborough County.

- Coordinated the augmentation of FASST through the THINK grant which allowed for the project to expand to targeted areas of Plant City and University / New Tampa (# of elementary schools served by FASST teams grew from 42 in 2000 to entire school district in 2004)
- Successfully orchestrated the financial and organizational growth of the collaborative project from seven to ten members and increasing the contractual budget from $2.1M to $3.1M
- Facilitated a strategic planning process that produced a plan for expansion and sustainability in 2002
- Northside Mental Health Center has been a community based mental health provider for more than forty years in Hillsborough County.
