Senior Aircraft Mechanic

  • Experienced with the general makeup, operation and installation of the UH-60 A/L/M and CH-47 aircraft systems and assemblies
  • Completed countless phase inspections determining the serviceability of aircraft systems and assemblies and when to repair or replace the components as cost-effective and timeliness as possible
  • Conducted rigging procedures on both UH-60 A/L/M and CH-47 aircraft
  • Specifically experienced in all areas of rigging for the UH-60 A/L/M (Flight controls from cockpit to swashplate, main rotor, tail rotor, LDS/PAS)
  • Removed and reinstalled or replaced almost every system, assembly, component and part installed on both the Ch-47 and UH-60 A/L/M
  • Skilled in all lifting equipment (Spyder crane, Scamp and jacks)

  • Overhauled multiple off-aircraft components to include flight controls, M/L/G shock struts, brakes, dampeners
  • Fabricated hydraulic tubing and hose repairs
  • Spent time at CCAD doing depot level component repair
  • Deployed to Iraq and Kurdistan in 2019 with D Co 5-159th
  • Completed maintenance for all AGSE equipment in Camp Taji and Erbil Kurdistan
  • Managed all back-shops maintenance in Erbil. To include assigning, tracking and reporting all maintenance to the PC NCOIC
  • Served as BN S3 staff for the 2-354th BCT as an Operations NCO
