Experienced Case Manager with over 20 years in the nursing profession. I have had several different titles in my years of nursing. I started my Nursing career as a CNA working for the state of Oklahoma. As a CNA, I worked in Long Term Care, Med-Surg, and home health. While working as a CNA, I continued to improve my education and completed an LPN program with completion in early 2000. After completing my LPN program, I moved to New Hampshire and began working for my current employer. I have served in many different roles while employed with The Memorial Hospital. I began working as a staff evening nurse while filling in as the overnight nurse. I quickly became the Charge Nurse for the nocturnal shift and worked 5 twelve hour shifts a week. I worked with a high level of autonomy. After spending over a decade on the night shift, I choose to switch to the day shift. While working the day shift, I took on the Charge Nurse role. Being the Charge nurse allowed me to enhance my role as a leader. The Case Management position became available, and I secured the position. The Case Manager is the current title I hold. Working as a Case Manager allowed me the opportunity to complete my Nursing Degree and obtain my Associate's Degree in Science Nursing. My desire does not stop here. I envision a long-term plan to become secure a Director of Nursing role or some more elevated position. My ambition is to continue improving and moving my career forward with every opportunity I can. Along with the evolving roles I have had, I care for my wife, who suffers some serious health issues. As a leader and Case Manager, I have shown an excellent reputation for resolving problems and improving customer satisfaction. A dedicated Nursing professional with a history of meeting company goals utilizing consistent and organized practices. Skilled in working under pressure and adapting to new situations and challenges to best enhance the organizational brand while ensuring a balance of quality and cost-effective care. Excellent reputation for resolving problems and improving customer satisfaction.
My wife of 22 years and I love to get away from the stressors of life and go camping when available. Our favorite spot is on the coast of Maine near Rockland. Lobster Buoy campsite has become like a second home to us when time allows for us to get away. My son (9yr old) and I love to sit back and watch the tide come in and pick through the rocks for a collection of sea glass. As a family we enjoy taking a dip in the sea to do a bit of swimming. When not swimming or collecting sea glass, we like to dig for steamers or drop a line to catch some fish. The most fun though is had by sitting around the campfire just watching the fire.
