Check the temperature on coils if they are to hot bring them to the storage location and put them in front of a fan to cool off. Put the same customer in the same storage location. Load the coil on the coil car. Dump all scrap from the start and end of the coil.

Take-Off

Load cores onto the madrel then tape the coil to the cores and line the coil up to specific lengths. When machine stops bring the coil off the madrel by using control panel. Tape the coil up and put the label on it. Cut 30 layers off the coil for the press operator to inspect the coil. Take the coil and load it on the upender to be ready to ship.

I also tape cores to ensure that we have enough for production needs.

• Proceeded to elevate within YKTAL to PC, taking the experience from stamp and die to help regulate coil and raw material inventory.
• Collaborate with the coil suppliers to oversee the production orders and ensure materials are ready for the stamping department.
• Schedule and forecast burner demands and to support daily production.
• Conduct meetings to coordinate with cross-functional teams on scheduling, planning, production activities and make adjustments as needed.
• Responsible for ordering materials.

• Troubleshoot, problem solve, and communicate findings to the team until the root cause is found, and solutions can be implemented.

• Occasionally fill in as an operator, displaying mastery skills with the machinery, processes, and checking for defects.
• Track supply levels ensuring assembly has enough to meet production expectations.
• Record the number of units displaced from the warehouse to assembly in the inventory database.

• Actively trained and worked in a progressive production environment utilizing physical, technical, and professional skills to execute responsibilities.
• Actively participated in process improvement and problem solving activities executing continuous improvement.
• Expert in processing product by using knives.
