I grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pa for all of my teen years. I chose to go into church work in large part due to my parent's beginning a residential and educational facility for individuals like my sister with special needs in 1965.
I served in the church from 1980-1989 primarily working with young adults and teens introducing them to faith in their lives.
In 1990 I transitioned to the non-profit sector in the area of fundraising. The last thirty three years I have been engaged in raising revenue for missional causes.
I have three grown children with four grandchildren. I enjoy working out, being engaged in my local church, and playing golf.
Built a formal development process and team that was responsible for direct mail, special events, regular communications via newsletters, major gift program, and estate planning.

Planned and led the celebration of Melmark's Twenty-Fifth anniversary events at the Four Season's Hotel in Philadelphia and the Princeton Club in New York City.
Launched the first capital campaign in conjunction with these events that included the development of a Campaign video, Case Statement, solicitation strategy of top prospects and branding appropriate with this organizational milestone.
