• Operated kabelco 400 with third member universal processor to demolish buildings in and around the city.
• Operated excavators, bulldozers and loaders to prepare site for new construction.
• Loaded trucks and roll offs with construction debree, various metals and whatever else that needed removed before new construction started.
• Operated excavator to install below grade utilities, sewer lines and storage tanks
• Used mobile crusher and screener to crush concrete so it could be used on-site or sold
• Performed thorough pre-shift and post-shift inspections and accurately completed equipment logs and reports.

I was hired by PSC in April of 1997 as a burner and traveled job to job all over the United States. After learning the different torch cutting techniques on the ground I found myself high up either climbing the iron or in man baskets or lifts. The Superintendent I traveled with was an operator by trade and he made sure I got the training and seat time I needed to make the next step to operator. We switched companies a few times for various reasons but the upper management group stayed the same. Unfortunately for me Dave,the Superintendent got killed on a project we were on in Arkansas so I found myself running work from the seat of a machine. I wasn't happy with how I got there but I loved the work. When upper management went to Jackson Demolition I was hired in as superintendent. I'd been running work for several years at this point so it was just a title. I got the opportunity to do some estimating at this point and I'd like to do some more in the future.
