Ensures high-quality standards are maintained in all maintenance functions and is responsible for the leadership and management of the 124 personnel assigned.
Keeps the Site Manager updated on all maintenance department actions and makes decisions or recommendations on how the activities assets (personnel, materials, facilities, and equipment) will be utilized to accomplish the mission safely and efficiently. Acts as Assistant Maintenance Officer and Maintenance Material Control Officer to fulfill qualification and programmatic duties IAW the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program.
Schedules meetings with functional mangers and liaisons with customer representatives to analyze the maintenance metrics and to ensure the efficient management of the maintenance effort.
