Lead a team up to 35 UAW hourly employees driven by a safety first culture in Lower Powertrain Products Heat Treat Dept. Responsible for ensuring that thorough accident and near miss investigations are completed and corrective actions taken, ensures that all personnel within the area adhere to all safe working practices. Support the Team Lead(s) and make available necessary resources to support training within the area. Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements. Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate.
