Taught courses both in the English and Communication Departments: Oral Presentation, English Composition I, Writing Skills.

Created unique and engaging classroom activities and assignments. Devised a detailed grading rubric for speeches and essays. Always encouraged critical thinking among students and helped them find their true voice. Helped inspire creative insights related to the topics under discussion. Built strong rapport with students through class discussions and academic advisement.

Taught both in-class and online courses. Appeared on CCM's cable television program CCM All Access for a 25 minute interview which aired on Optimum channel 77 on multiple occasions.

Taught Freshman Writing Workshop I & II. Delivered clear, concise, and informative lectures on all aspects of college writing. Selected interesting and thought-provoking essays for students to respond to in written assignments. Assisted other professors in the grading of final exams. Participated in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current on pedagogical trends with the field of English education.

Set up appointments by telephone with accounts receivable executives in targeted industries. Scheduled the appointments in such a way that our outside representative could visit as many executive decision makers as possible as he traveled his route. Initial and follow-up calls. Recorded the results of all appointments.
