  • I had a short tenure with a company who has since been dissolved. While my time with this company was short lived, and frankly I am not proud of any affiliation with said company, it taught me valuable skills in the sales industry. Such skills and experiences include:
  • Knowing who you are working for. While I may have been green in that specific industry, I had a bad feeling about the sales practices I was taught in my training with the company, and since then have been proven correct and am glad I followed my instincts and left when I did.
  • Determining customers' needs based on sales calls and face-to-face meetings.
  • Remaining up to date on current offerings and company processes.
  • Communicating with vendors regarding back order availability, future inventory and special orders.
  • Describing product to customers to accurately explain details and care of merchandise.

  • Company Overview: All American Property Maintenance was a full service residential and commercial landscaping company.
  • This was one of the most gratifying and rounding points of my life that really took my communication skills and drive in the workforce to a whole new level.
  • I had to leave the company due to personal reasons, but I think its important to note that by the time I left the company, after 5 years, we retained 2 other local landscaping companies, were running 3 crews, had 7 year-round employees (not including myself and my partner), 150+ year round residential and commercial accounts, a brick and mortar workshop, and was an active member of the local chamber of commerce, frequenting local events promoting the company.
  • Meeting with co-owner and reception to update on latest organizational developments.
