*Duties Include-Assume responsibility, lead, oversee, review and perform the work of the staff responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of water meters, curb stops, gate and check valves, meter boxes, and rotate meters. Meter leaks, pressure checks, troubleshooting reported staff issues, and meter problems.
*Use problem-solving skills to identify preventive maintenance issues to efficiently prevent future problems.
*Respond to questions and concerns of customers, providing services such as turn on/off, transfer reads, no water calls, emergency turn offs, billing rechecks, door hangers, illegal consumption, delinquent turn offs/ons, meter reading, and resolving customer complaints.
*Responding to and investigating customer complaints including low/high pressure, and providing meter repairs.
*Effectively train coworkers in ethical work practice, and equipment use in operation for day to day maintenance.
*Ensuring the safety of all staff and public while working. Following all policies and procedures is always required.
*Maintain timely and accurate records of all work performed via Cityworks and written daily Time in Motion logs.
*Participate in the After Hours On-Call performing the necessary maintenance required to continually provide the residents with high quality water.
*Reporting issues and recommendations to higher level staff.
