
LED and video-focused AV tech with experience building LED walls and supporting video systems for live events. Familiar with Novastar processors, signal flow, and video routing, with additional experience in lighting, audio, and stage builds. Reliable on site and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
• Assemble and disassemble LED walls for live events, including both ground support and flown configurations
• Perform panel layout, alignment, and secure mounting based on build specs
• Run and manage data (etherCON) and power cabling for LED systems
• Route and terminate fiber lines between control and stage positions
• Assist with LED processors and control systems, ensuring proper signal flow from source to wall
• Identify and troubleshoot common LED issues (bad panels, data loss, misalignment, mapping issues)
• Maintain clean cable runs and proper labeling for efficient builds and strikes
• Work closely with lead LED techs to execute builds quickly in time-sensitive environments
• Operated forklift to move, stage, and position materials safely and efficiently
• Loaded and unloaded trucks for load-ins and load-outs.
• Practice correct safety procedures when operating a forklift.
• Assist with setup and strike of video systems for live events, corporate shows, and productions
• Set up and cable video switchers (Barco PDS, Analog Way Pulse) under direction of video engineer
• Run and manage SDI, HDMI, and fiber signal paths between sources, switchers, and displays
• Support installation of LED walls, projection systems, and video playback setups
• Assist with camera setup, signal routing, and basic shading support
• Configure and test signal flow from source → switcher → output (LED/projection/displays)
• Support playback systems and cue execution (basic familiarity with Millumin)
• Troubleshoot common video issues such as no signal, resolution mismatch, or cabling faults
• Assist with screen builds, projector alignment, and image positioning
• Maintain organized cable runs and label signal paths for efficient operation and strike
• Assist with setup and strike of lighting systems for live events, concerts, and corporate productions
• Hang and position lighting fixtures on truss, pipe, and ground-supported structures
• Run and manage DMX and power cabling, maintaining clean and organized cable paths
• Perform fixture addressing and basic patching under direction of the lighting programmer
• Support with focus and positioning of fixtures to match show design
• Assist with loading/unloading and prepping lighting gear for builds
• Troubleshoot basic issues such as signal loss, addressing errors, and faulty fixtures
• Work with dimmers, power distribution, and control lines while following safety procedures
• Coordinate with other departments (LED, video, audio, rigging) to ensure efficient builds
• Maintain awareness of signal flow and system layout throughout setup and operation
