Having a robust background with several pipeline companies and a solid grasp of petrochemical operations, I excel in pipeline system construction, start-ups, safety protocol and SOP implementation. My expertise extends to mentoring peers towards operational qualifications, showcasing my leadership abilities and technical proficiency in enhancing operational efficiency and safety compliance.
Assisted in operations oversight during construction and start up of the new 900,000 bpd Gray Oak Pipeline System. Performed work permitting and lock out/tag out implementation. Assisted in writing standard operating procedures. Became Operator Qualified (OQ'd) in all relevant regulated tasks. Performed station rounds. 811 call response and excavation site control to protect underground assets. Corrosion coupon replacement, pipeline pigging and structure to soil potential reads are also regular assigned tasks. Was tasked with training less experienced peers to the point that they could also become OQ'd technicians.
Became a part of the Incident Command System, filling the role of Operations Section Chief (OSC) for Gray Oak Pipeline, where I was able to participate in field boom deployment exercises and multiple tabletop drills.
Spent a significant amount of time working with and learning from my supervisor while being given the opportunity to fill in for him when he was away from the office for operational issues. Was also given the opportunity to help recruit several team members and sit in on interviews.
