  • Served as executive consultant in 4Q 2011 to turn around business after PPA for flagship 20MW project had been cancelled and founders had failed to develop follow-on projects. Joined as CEO in January 2012. Brought on CFO and GC later that year;
  • Successfully executed turnaround strategy for GSE that restored fiscal stability within one year and turned company net cash flow positive within three years, acquiring asset base of over $70 mill comprised of 12 power plants during 2012-2014 period and placing over $90 mill of permanent senior debt and tax equity;
  • Managed all aspects of business to include asset acquisition, M&A, project finance, investor relations, tax equity financing, budgeting and corporate development; and
  • Company was cited in report by GSE's independent auditor, as demonstrating “outstanding performance in several key indicators of financial performance” including appraised stock value increase, increase in assets, increase in EBITDA, increase in Net Income and Return on Assets. Same report quoted GSE's performance in respect of shareholder value creation during Mr. Clevett's tenure as highest amongst all other organizations in peer group.

  • Re-engineered virtually all business processes related to both business development and execution. Established integrated project finance/PPA solution and managed development and negotiation of all project and project finance documentation and establishment of strategic alliances to enhance growth; and
  • Promoted to COO in 2010. Managed investor relations function, including key Wall St. relationships, resulting in equity analyst coverage initiation in 3Q 2010.

  • Responsibilities encompassed executive management of all operations and accounting functions associated with group of four companies;
  • Brought in investors to purchase company from its utility owner and led turnaround, including bringing in new management team;
  • Successfully rebuilt revenue backlog to beyond pre-acquisition levels in under 21 months; and
  • Restructured all underperforming assets to achieve operating profitability.
