Managed the volume of 250-300 patients per day with an average Emergency Severity Index of 2.8. Evaluated patient care needs, prioritized treatment and maintained patient flow. 

Served as core staff in a high acuity and high volume rural emergency department. Stabilized multiple trauma patients due to remote location. Graduated Critical Care University through a collaborative agreement between University of Maryland Medical Systems and Johns Hopkins University.

Served as a Preventive Medicine Specialist during wartime in both the hospital setting of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center. Received 2 Army Commendation Medals and 3 Army Achievement Medals. Presented the American flag, flown over the Pentagon, on July 4th, 2005 in my honor by Commanding Officer upon ETS from the military.
