Manage assigned projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all
activities, including contracting, design, product/equipment ordering,
zoning, permitting regulatory, construction, optimization, close-out, and
efficiently coordinated and completed on time within budget and in
accordance with the underlying contract. Manage all external vendors and
coordinate with internal teams necessary for timely completion and within
budget. Directly advise and influence decisions of leaders in all aspects of
work. Responsible to negotiate costs within scope of project, hold vendor
accountable to ensure the budget is maintained; ensure everyone is aware
of issues that will affect project completion or cost.
Review and fully understand each project's budgets, schedules, and
requirements. Create and execute project work plans and programs,
control budgets, and identify and acquire resources needed to prosecute
the project(s). Assign individual duties to the project management team
and staff. Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of a project to
ensure on-time and under-budget project completion. Meet with internal
and external customers with prepared reports to give progress updates,
answer questions, and manage requested changes to project plans. When necessary, serve as the project spokesperson by developing relationships and facilitating communication, updates, and meetings with internal and external customers. Monitor quality control of installation work – conducts on-site QC surveys for compliance with Metronet installation standards, tracks individual
technicians' QC compliance, and generates monthly compliance reports.
Resolve customer complaints – investigates service and damage complaints and takes appropriate action to resolve the complaint. Procure and coordinate installation activities of contractors as needed to meet workflow requirements.
Responsible for senior-level analysis, dispatch, ticket prioritization, customer callbacks, validation and correlation of escalated customer tickets to resolution at the HFC Service desk. Responsible for validating HFC resolutions. Works with moderate supervision/guidance. Being accountable for individual results and impact on the team.
Uses installation tools and hand tools and performs jobs from high places (on poles and roofs), including climbing poles with proper equipment (safety belt, strap, climbers), ladders, and bucket trucks (18 to 26 feet). Manipulates connectors, fasteners, and wire and uses hand tools. Lifts and carries loads of 70 lbs. or more, works in confined spaces such as crawl spaces or attics, works while standing 50 -70% of the time, and performs work near powerlines and electricity. Works within the manufacturer's rated weight capacity for all equipment, including but not limited to ladders and aerial lifts. Using the Company vehicle maintains proper equipment to be prepared to perform required duties. Drives company vehicle in performing duties safely and responsibly with the appropriate state licensing requirements while working and traveling in inclement weather. Vision ability: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus and manipulate objects such as pens, keyboards, and mouse. Regular work shifts may include weekends and 10-hour days for four days a week, and are available to work overtime, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
