Work History

Project Manager

DW masonry&
Denton, Maryland
08.2015 - Current

I’ve had a numerous roles at Dw masonry. I was hired as project manager. my main responsibilities were to go from Job to Job and check on the superintendents to make sure that they had the manpower and materials they needed to complete the jobs ,help figure out any problems that may occur and come up with solutions to solve them. I would attend progress meetings with clients and employers. Because I was working with a senior project manager, it was not full-time work for me. So I also ran off-road forklifts, skid steers, excavators and hauled material and equipment from Job to Job. I also jumped in and helped wherever I could. Whether it would be overseeing guys on the job site running equipment or whatever I could do to keep things moving forward.

The company wanted to expand and start an artificial stone making business, Coastal Stone. I was asked to head up that task. My responsibilities Where to learn how to make the stone and design colors. Once we had this established, I was in charge of running the shop, overseeing the employees, ordering materials ,taking orders ,setting up deliveries, and overseeing the installers.

After several years of doing that the company want to expand into a contracting business, Smith and Weston Construction. My role in this company was to be on site man or superintendent. Duties included scheduling contractors, overseeing work, Weekly meetings with client, whether it would be zoom or in person, scheduling and meeting with inspectors, keeping the job site safe and clean and finishing on schedule.
