    Mission Statement

    I volunteered to help with the Special Olympics as a High School Senior. It was then that a career working with young people with disabilities chose me. It took a few years after college for me to develop the knowledge, passion and humility that would prepare me for the work that I have been doing as a tireless advocate for exceptional students for the past 25 years. My purpose has become very clear and simple:  I will use my knowledge, experience and expertise to assist my students in developing confidence and acquiring the necessary academic, communication, self advocacy and social skills needed to be able to choose their path that will bring them the greatest satisfaction and quality of life possible.
