  • Developed a strong relationship between The University of Utah and The University of Sao Paulo (USP) which has almost 100,000 students.
  • Also, developed business projects with USP for foreign businesses for marketing research, product development, and product testing to adapt to the Brazilian market.

Finance Analyst/Senior Finance Analyst

Caterpillar Tractor Co.
  • Developed and organized a new Economic/Financial Analysis Division in the Materials Department at Caterpillar Tractor Co. in Brazil to improve profitability by providing production cost information to the Purchasing Division.
  • Target prices were developed for parts and components to assist in the negotiations of purchases.
  • Conducted in-depth financial and organizational evaluations of Caterpillar dealerships throughout Brazil with written analyses and recommendations to the owners and managers for improvement.
  • Also, worked with the dealerships to implement necessary changes.
  • Developed $50 million of bank credit lines for the import and export of Caterpillar products.
  • These credit lines helped increase international sales substantially.
