Provided strong leadership to multiple districts, resulting in low GM turnover. Under my leadership over the last 10 years, District 1 sales have grown from $41M annually to sales that will exceed $56M in 2024. While leading the D1 team, I have also led acquisitions in North Carolina & Chicago, as well as leading on an interim basis, the Oklahoma district. These experiences allowed me to lead changes in operating systems, culture-building, training/coaching, all of which are foundations to our new store processes in place today. I have mentored and trained multiple DMs, two of which have been promoted from GM to DM. In addition, I provided mentoring & training to additional external DMs, new to the organization. I pride myself in having a strong sense of detail, efficiency in processes & an effective communicator. I began my GM role at store 49 in 1994 and facilitated 2 new store openings at store 63 & 74. In 2002, I took over store 1, which had numerous opportunities for improvement. During that tenure, I successfully grew sales to over $3.4M & produced the highest profitability metrics in store history. Our team also won the Peer group award in 2008 & won several fall display awards over several stores.
I began my Westlake career as a PT sales associate & was successfully promoted to both Floor supervisor & Assistant Manager in 1991.
